Global sports company PUMA and Netball South Africa today unveiled the bold new 2025/26 Home and Away kits which will debut when the SPAR Proteas women’s team embarks on their upcoming six test Australasian tour.
The vibrant graphic executed on the side panels of the new Home (Green) and Away (White) kits, elevates the United Warriors theme from the World Cup campaign in 2023. It draws on the colours of the South African National Flag to symbolise the team’s unity in working towards a common winning goal. While the angular shapes from the National Flag are refashioned to symbolise the dynamic back-and-forth movement of players in the game. One country. One people. Standing proud.
“The new kits are inspired by our National Flag, created for the court, and worn by warriors,” said PUMA South Africa Marketing Director Brett Bellinger. “We can’t wait to see the SPAR Proteas stars sparkle in the kit when they take on the Silver Ferns in Aukland on 21 September.”
“We could not have asked for a better kit and design from PUMA, as it speaks directly to us being all about UNITY and WINNING. We are very delighted to have partners who understand and share our vision of where we are headed and what we seek to achieve. This is by far the best design we have had, and my hope is for the message to translate on court when our players compete during their Australasian tour. We also cannot wait to see the under 21 kits that will be worn during the 2025 Netball World Youth Cup,” said Netball South Africa Acting President, Mami Diale.
The kits for the U21 World Cup to be held in Gibraltar from 19-28 September 2025, will be launched later this month. The kits, to be worn by the likes of PUMA athlete Karla Victor, will share the same design language as that of the senior team, but the colours will differ with Home (Blue) and Away (White).
