Netball South Africa has concluded its 2026 national selection season, confirming the players identified through the federation’s selection pathway across the U19, Senior and Talent Identification and Development (TID) programmes.
The selection process took place throughout the year, with national selectors observing and assessing players across several of Netball South Africa’s major competitions.
The process began during the Telkom Netball League (TNL), continued through the Telkom Netball Championship (TNC), and concluded at the recent SPAR National Netball Championships in Cape Town.
The final selections comprise the NSA U19 Top 56, NSA Senior Top 56 and a group of players selected for the 2026 Talent Identification and Development programme.
Players who are currently members of the SPAR Proteas national squad and training partners were not considered for these lists as they remain part of the national programme.
Netball South Africa also acknowledged the district, provincial and national selectors who contributed throughout the season, highlighting their role in identifying, assessing and developing talent across the national pathway.
