1. What does it mean to you to be named one of the best players of TNL 2025?
Being named one of the best players is an incredible honour, validating all the hard work and determination. I’m grateful for my team’s support and to be among such brilliant netball players.
2. Which moment from this season stands out as your most memorable?
My favourite moment from this season would be when Tshukudu secured a spot in the semi-finals. It’s an incredible achievement, especially considering we’re a relatively new team. Ultimately, our bronze medal win in Division 2 by defeating the Sunbirds 54–44 in the third/fourth place playoff was a highlight, showcasing our growth and potential for future success.
3. How did you stay motivated and consistent throughout the season?
I stayed motivated by setting specific goals for myself, both on and off the court. I also drew energy from my teammates and the support of my family. Celebrating small wins along the way helped keep me motivated.
4. What has this season taught you — on and off the court?
This season taught me the importance of consistency, teamwork, and resilience. I’ve learned to adapt to challenges, trust my teammates, and balance physical and mental strength. It’s been a journey of growth, both on and off the court.
5. Who or what inspired your performance this year?
My teammates, coaches, and family inspired my performance this year. Their support and love mean the world to me.
6. What advice would you give to young netballers hoping to follow in your footsteps?
Work hard, stay dedicated, and most importantly, believe in yourself. Don’t be afraid to fail – it’s a chance to learn and grow. Stay focused, stay hungry, and enjoy the game.
7. What was the most challenging part of the season for you, and how did you overcome it?
The toughest moment was dealing with a difficult loss, but I bounced back by learning from my mistakes and leaning on the support of my team and coaches. They helped me regain confidence and return stronger.
8. How important was teamwork in your success this season?
Teamwork was everything this season. One moment that stands out was when we were down by 11 goals in a crucial game. Our team huddled together, refocused, and came back strong in the second half. The communication, trust, and support we showed each other on court made all the difference — we ended up drawing against the Kingdom Stars, an excellent team. It was an incredible display of teamwork and resilience.
9. If you could give one piece of advice to yourself at the start of the season, what would it be?
I’d tell myself to trust the process and believe in myself — it’s all about growth and progress, not perfection.
10. What’s next for you after TNL 2025?
Next up is Varsity Netball and the SPAR National Championships. For now, I just want to secure a good starting position, win tournaments, and continue improving my skills.
