1. What does it mean to you to be named one of the best players of TNL 2025?
I am very blessed and humbled — this means everything to me. It is the true definition of hard work.

2. Which moment from this season stands out as your most memorable?
The relegation/promotion match, where we stood together as a team with one goal. We were fighting for our place in Division 1, where we belong.

3. How did you stay motivated and consistent throughout the season?
I stayed motivated by remembering the reasons I play netball — the young girls out there looking up to me, and my late coach, Mr TV Mkhize, who played a huge role in shaping my future. And also by everyone who believes in me as a player.

4. What has this season taught you — on and off the court?
This season taught me the importance of consistency, resilience, and focus. On the court, I learned to stay composed and trust my teammates. Off the court, I learned the power of community and giving back.

5. Who or what inspired your performance this year?
The support of my teammates, friends, and family — a big shoutout to them.

6. What advice would you give to young netballers hoping to follow in your footsteps?
Work hard, believe in yourself, stay humble, and always respect your coaches. Your turn is coming!

7. What was the most challenging part of the season for you, and how did you overcome it?
The most challenging part was maintaining consistency. We started poorly with a 10-goal loss to the Queens, and in the second leg we were sitting fourth on the log. Losing our Vice President, ubaba uTV Mkhize, was also a huge distraction. But afterwards we set one goal, came together as a team, and delivered. We had a title to defend — and we achieved it.

8. How important was teamwork in your success this season?
Teamwork played a huge part. The match against the Sunbirds was very close, and we had to pull away to win. We had each other’s backs, gained confidence, and nailed the game plan.

9. If you could give one piece of advice to yourself at the start of the season, what would it be?
You’ve got this! The team needs you. Stay focused and trust yourself.

10. What’s next for you after TNL 2025?
I want to be a source of hope for young girls, especially those still at school. I’ve started a programme to give back to my community and offer support where I can — and I want it to grow.
