Lefébre Rademan reflects on Power Week 1, the growth of her team, and what’s to come in the next round of the TNL2025 season!
1. What were some of the key takeaways or standout moments for your side during Power Week 1?
Week 1 gave us a lot to build on. One of the key takeaways was how important it is to start strong and maintain consistency throughout all four quarters. A standout moment was our defensive pressure—how we were able to turn ball and change the momentum of the game.
2. What lessons has your team taken from the opening matches that you’re hoping to build on?
The opening matches taught us a lot about where we are and where we want to go. We’re focusing on our structures and our strong points, and we’re excited to take these lessons forward and keep growing as a team.
3. Was there a particular match, moment or player during Power Week 1 that really stood out for you?
I loved how our team showed resilience against the Flames.
4. What is the team focusing on as you prepare for Power Week 2?
As we prepare for Power Week 2, our main focus is sharpening our connections and lifting our intensity. It’s all about consistency across four quarters and making sure we play quality netball.
5. How do you manage the physical and mental demands of the league, particularly during intense Power Week fixtures?
It takes balance and discipline. Physically, recovery is just as important as training. Mentally, I stay grounded by sticking to routines that help me stay focused. Having a strong support system—my teammates, coaches, and family—also makes a huge difference. We all lean on each other through tough moments.
6. What role are your team’s experienced players playing in mentoring younger or newer team members?
Our experienced players play a huge role in mentoring the younger and newer members of the team. They lead by example on and off the court—whether it’s showing calm under pressure, maintaining high standards, or being supportive and motivating everyone.
7. What are you and your team most looking forward to in the next block of fixtures?
We are most looking forward to putting into action everything we’ve been working on at training. It’s exciting to see how we’re growing, and the upcoming matches are a great chance to challenge ourselves.

To our amazing fans—thank you for your constant support, whether you’re cheering from the sidelines or following us from afar. Your energy, encouragement, and belief in us means the world. We are working hard to make you proud. Let’s keep bringing the energy and chasing those wins together!
