South Africa vs Scotland Head-to-Head
On Tuesday 22nd November, South Africa and Scotland will face off for the 11th time in history when they play the opening match of the 2022 SPAR Diamond Challenge. The two sides have met ten times already and the SPAR Proteas are yet to taste defeat.
Scotland are ranked 10th in the world whilst South Africa are five placed above them. The most goals that Scotland has scored against the SPAR Proteas is 46 and this happened at this year’s Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, South Africa won that match 65 – 46.
On the other end, the most goals scored by SPAR Proteas is 66, this was back in 2019 when the two sides met during group stage matches at the 2019 Netball World Cup played in Liverpool. South Africa won that match 66 – 38.
Will Scotland break this cycle when the two sides meet and cause an upset by beating South Africa or will the hosts continue with their dominance.
